Our Mission

The mission is to create a system that successfully closes those gaps in our health care system and to ensure every single cancer patient that lacks: insurance, transportation, social support, or has a language barrier, has the same access to health care and understanding of their medical treatment as everyone else.  We want to create an environment where new cancer patients have access to us, where they feel cared for and not lost during this difficult time. We believe that no one should fight cancer alone.

WHAT WE DO

We started this cancer foundation after witnessing several cancer patients struggle from their initial cancer diagnosis. As Oncology nurses, we saw several patients leave the hospital after a cancer diagnoses only to come back few months later with a terminal diagnosis due to poor follow up and poor understanding of their disease due to a language barrier or just being naïve about cancer.  We ensure patients understand the plan of care as well as connect them to the free resources that already exist in the community.  This is to ensure their treatments are not delayed thereby giving them the best chance of survival.  If there are no existing resources, then we step in and meet the need as much as possible.
